Born in Jerusalem, 1942 Dean Sanduga immigrated to Canada in 1966 where he went on to become an esteemed citizen and contributor in both the public and private sector. He was awarded the Leader’s Service Award by the Honorable Primer Ralph Klein for his outstanding Volunteer service and recently awarded the Golden Jubilee Medal for his significant contributions made to Canada & community. 

Dean has held the position of Quasi judicial Review Board Chairman of the Alberta Housing Review Board. This was preceded by his position as a consultant in International Investment Promotion with Alberta Economic Development and Trade; and Board Chairman of Alberta Small Business Term Assistance Program.

                       Dean Sanduga is the Honorary Consul for the Islamic

                       Republic of Mauritania in Alberta, Canada.  He has held this

                       esteemed position since 1996.

       

 

Dean was educated at the University of Bonn Germany where he received a Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering. As founder of Sanduga & Associates in 1995 Dean epitomized the entrepreneurial spirit and continued towards a successful launch of his own International Export and Import businesses. His success includes ownership and management of Nutraceutical Corporation PharmaTech 2000 where he remains CEO. Dean holds a PhD in Business.

Dean  is highly experienced in public speaking, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. His experience in management and public relations complements his background in group dynamics. His constructive and stimulating approach leads delegates to regularly regard his involvement as both “excellent” and “inspiring”.

Mr. Sanduga is fluent in English, Arabic (all major Arabic dialects) and German with basic understanding of Yiddish, Dutch , Swedish and Turkish.  

Dean, his wife Aida, three daughters and two sons and two grandchildren reside in Edmonton.
